Quite a while had passed since their secret relationship became steady.

The AURA kitchen still ran under Daniel's strict control. At its center, Hangyeol had mastered the sauce section and become the kitchen's core.

After closing, an empty staff room.

Hangyeol took a crumpled envelope out of his bag and set it on the desk.

**Working Holiday Visa Expires: 30 Days Left.**

It was a notice from the **immigration** office — his stay had one month left.

Lost in the relationship, he had put off this reality, and now it **surfaced**. If the visa expired, Hangyeol would have to go back to Korea or find **sponsorship**.

"Han."

Swish—

Daniel's shadow fell over Hangyeol's back.

He looked down at the notice over Hangyeol's shoulder. His amber eyes darkened in an instant.

"What is this?"

A low, heavy voice dug into Hangyeol's ear.

Hangyeol reached to pull the papers away, but long fingers pressed the edge down first and held it there.

"You can see for yourself. It's one month before my working holiday visa expires."

"So?"

"What do you mean, so? In a month, I might have to leave here. I can't **overstay** my visa."

Hangyeol put strength into his voice, pretending it was nothing. Inside, he was burning with worry.

Cooking in this kitchen had become too precious to Hangyeol.

Daniel let out a short laugh and pulled Hangyeol's waist firmly against his own chest.

Hangyeol felt the warmth of Daniel's solid body. But Daniel's voice was colder and firmer than ever.

"Leave? Go where, Han."

"Daniel, my visa is ending, so what am I supposed to do..."

"Don't worry."

Daniel brushed his lips lightly against Hangyeol's ear and whispered low.

"You're not going to leave. I won't let that happen."

In Daniel's arms, Hangyeol opened his eyes for a moment.

*I won't let that happen.*

It was a warm sentence. The strength truly left Hangyeol's shoulders, and half the weight that had pressed on him for a month **lifted**.

But there was one thing missing from that sentence.

*What do you want to do.*

Daniel had not asked. He had never once asked, and he did not seem to plan to. He spoke in the voice of a man who had already decided the answer.

Hangyeol pushed the thought away.

Now was not the time to question it. One month was left, and this man had said he would let him stay. That was enough.

*Was that enough?*

Hangyeol rested his forehead against Daniel's shirt.

"Daniel."

"Yeah."

"How are you going to do that?"

"I'll show you tomorrow night."

Daniel's hand cupped the back of Hangyeol's head. It was not an answer, but Hangyeol did not ask again.
